Wayne Rooney's wife recently posted a tweet thanking husband for a 'lovely surprise', a suggestion that the Manchester United striker might actually be moving to London club Chelsea.
According to the Mirror, Rooney has been strongly linked to a move to the capital with clubs Chelsea and Arsenal chasing to sign him and after Coleen posted a tweet saying 'Lovely surprise @WayneRooney', reply tweets asked her if the 'surprise' was a house in Chelsea indicating to a transfer to the London club.
A pal of Coleen said that Coleen is very close to her family, but she realises the journey between London and Liverpool really isn't an issue time-wise these days and added that she has had a brief look at the possibility of moving into leafy areas of Surrey and has told Wayne she's ready to make the big move south if she needs to.
The report said that Manchester United recently rejected a 22million pound bid from rivals Chelsea for Rooney, but manager Jose Mourinho is expected to increase the offer to 30million pounds.
The new Manchester United manager David Moyes has insisted the troubled striker isn't for sale and will remain at the club who pay him 250,000 pounds-per-week next season, the report added.
