Countdown for launch of India's sixth navigational satellite begins

The countdown for the launch of PSLV-C32 to place India's sixth navigational satellite IRNSS-1F in the orbit has started at Satish Dhawan Space Centre here.

The Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) workhorse PSLV-C32 will lift off IRNSS-1F at 4 p.m. on Thursday.

As per reports, the Mission Readiness Review Committee and the Launch Authorisation Board met at Sriharikota on Monday evening and cleared the 54 and half hours countdown, starting at 9:30 a.m on Tuesday. During the countdown, propellant filling operations would be taken up in the four-stage vehicle.
