CRPF disposes off IED bomb in Assam

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) disposed off a pressure-sensitive Improvised Explosive Device (IED) bomb discovered in the morning today at Nagain district in Assam.

Biswnath Pranjite, Second Command Officer, CRPF, said, "We discovered the bomb in the morning. It was concealed in a tiffin box. Had somebody put their foot on it, it would have exploded."

He added that the bomb had been disposed off after exploding it with TNT.
