Disney has cut ties with YouTube's most watched blogger PewDiePie for posting numerous videos containing anti-Semitic remarks.
With more than 53 million subscribers on YouTube, 27-year-old PewDiePie, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg, is known for posting humorous clips, mostly about video games.
Kjellberg has turned his videos into a lucrative business, earning more than $14m per year from advertising, sponsorship and appearance fees, reports the Wall Street Journal.
A spokesperson for Maker Studios, the Disney division that had collaborated with PewDiePie, said: "Although Felix has created a following by being provocative and irreverent, he clearly went too far in this case and the resulting videos are inappropriate."
Following an investigation into the anti-Semitic, Disney has ended this joint venture.
