Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer are set to take their on-court rivalry to newer heights, with the tennis stalwarts gearing up to become the first man in the history of sport to break through the 100 million dollars on-court earnings barrier in 2016.

While Djokovic has earned 94 million dollars in prize money, his rival and six-year senior Federer has pocketed 97.3 million dollars in his glorious career spanning 17 years, News.com.au reported.

Federer, the 17-time Grand Slam champion, would become the first man to reach the landmark figure if he wins the Australian Open, which has 3.85 millon dollars on offer.
