Drone strike kills 7 IS militants in Afghanistan
At least seven militants belonging to the Islamic State (IS) were killed in a drone strike in eastern Nangarhar province on Monday afternoon.
The drone targeted a hideout in Haska Mena district of the province, Afghanistan's news channel Tolo News on Tuesday quoted a spokesperson for the provincial governor Ataullah Khoghyani as saying.
Some weapons were also destroyed in the airstrike, he added.
