Eight feared dead in chopper crash in Gaurikund

An Indian Air Force (IAF) rescue chopper, MI-17 V5, crashed in Gaurikund, Uttarakhand on Tuesday.

According to television reports, the chopper crashed in Kedar Valley while returning from Kedarnath.

At least five IAF personnel and three civilians are feared dead in the chopper crash.

Further details into the untoward incident are awaited.
