Emma Thompson and her husband Greg Wise have decided to educate their 15-year-old daughter Gaia at their home itself.
The 'Sense and Sensibility' actor said that her teenage loves learning and is also focused about her studies, but she doesn't like the sausage factory of formal education, Contactmusic reported.
The 48-year-old Hollywood producer explained that that is the reason that now the parents will educate their teen in the garden of their West Hampstead home in London, where they've built a classroom.
Wise added that children are being taught subjects that proves out of irrelevant to their future jobs, so it is of no use rather than that its better to teach them Latin and free-form dance.
Thompson and Wise's elder child, Tindyebwa Agaba, who they informally adopted when he was 16, graduated from Exeter University in politics, and right now works as a human rights activist and aid worker.
