Women looking forward to impress their boyfriend should ditch fake tans and heavy make-up, as they have been voted the biggest turn-offs on a first date.
A study has revealed that around 35 per cent of men said that they found both unattractive, the Sun reported.
The study conducted by flirt.com found that a one-fourth of the men also disliked girls wearing trendy shoes such as flat brogues or clumpy spiked boots.
Designer labels were labelled as a waste because a number of men said that they did not know the difference between 'Prada' and 'Primark'.
It was found that the best outfit was a little black dress, which was loved by half of blokes, while 47 per cent favoured curve-hugging jeans and top.
Just over half liked natural looking make-up.
