Farmers denied minimum support price for produce, ransack agricultural office

Angry farmers in Mahbubnagar district ransacked a Agricultural Committee office on Friday.

The ransacking took place after the farmers, who cultivated large quantities of groundnuts, took to the streets and conducted a sitting protest demanding minimum support price for their produce.

Broken cupboards, tables and other stuffs were lying in a broken state.
