Fire cracker blast at naval base in Porbandar

An explosion was heard at the Indian Navy base in Porbandar on the Gujarat coast this afternoon.

However, the Indian Navy later dispelled rumours of explosion, saying the sound was just of a fire cracker.

The guard subsequently informed the seniors. The base staff immediately launched a search operation.

However, it was later on found out that the explosion was not linked to any terrorist activity.
