Hamilton wins third F1 world championship at US GP

Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton has sealed his third Formula One world championship by cruising to a commanding victory at thrilling US Grand Prix.

With his win, Hamilton became the first British driver to win back to back races and the first to win ten or more races in consecutive seasons, Sport24 reported.

The 30 year old Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg finished second ahead of Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, who finished third by just 0.5 seconds.
