Delhiites woke up to a pleasant Friday morning, but the heavy rains brought along problems of water logging and slow movement of traffic.
Several streets were waterlogged, causing problems to residents, students and office-goers in particular.
While many people were forced to stay confined to their homes, others were seen on the streets stranded, along with their vehicles, at different locations across the city.
Traffic was reported to be moving at slow pace at several places following the rains.
Commuters had a hard time travelling due to poor visibility and pedestrians were seen wading through streets flooded by overflowing drains.
