After 16 years of dating, American actress Helen Hunt has reportedly broken up with boyfriend Matthew Carnahan.
Writer-producer Carnahan and the 54-year-old actress had been together since 2001 and also have a 13-year-old daughter - Makena Lei, who was born in 2004.
According to a source, "She had left Matthew several months back. They had a rocky relationship and many offs and ons over the years. They stayed together as long as they did because of their daughter," reports E online.
The 'House of Lies' producer also has a 20-year-old son from a previous relationship.
The 'Twister' actress was previously married to an actor Hank Azaria before their divorce in 1999 after five years together and almost two years of marriage.
The Oscar-winner actress will soon return to the big screen with her upcoming film 'I Love You, Daddy', which will be premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in September.
