The Jammu Police has seized heroin worth Rs. 40 million in a raid conducted here yesterday.
The raid was conducted at the residence of late drug dealer Sarfu.
Around Rs. 9, 00,000 cash was also seized in the raid.
"We have got eight packets of narcotics, weighing four kilograms and 115 grams. Its value is worth crores in the international market. From what we hear, one kilogram of heroin is worth one crore rupees in the international market," said Danesh Rana, Inspector General of Jammu.
A lady named Preeto Devi has been nabbed in connection with this case.
