Hometown votes Vanilla Ice 'Outstanding Citizen of the Year'

Vanilla Ice's hometown in south Florida is set to name him 'outstanding citizen of the year'.

The 'Ice Ice Baby' hitmaker will be given the title by Wellington's chamber of Commerce during an event, the Washington Times reported.

Officials said that they will honor the rapper, who has contributed to several local charities in Wellington, for his "spirit of giving and dedication".
