Late legendary film reviewer Roger Ebert's widow has revealed her husband wanted Philip Seymour Hoffman, who died from an apparent drug overdose in his Manhattan apartment, to play him in a biopic.
At the screening of 'Life Itself', a new documentary based on her hubby, Chaz Ebert said that Roger always said that if anyone made a movie on him, the 'Capote' star should play him, the New York Post reported.
Chaz asserted that Hoffman was one of the most versatile actors ever and a brilliant human being and just very smart.
