India, Afghanistan hold consultations in Delhi

India and Afghanistan held consultations here on Tuesday during which the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest.

According to official sources, Afghanistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Ershad Ahmadi met Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh and discussed about events related to Afghanistan that will take place on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York.

The visiting dignitary also called on External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid.
