India, Bhutan jointly unveil 'Special logo'

External Affairs (EAM) and Bhutan's of Foreign Affairs Lyonpo on Friday jointly unveiled the 'Special logo' for the Golden Jubilee celebrations in and through video-conference.

The move was made to mark the launch of the Golden jubilee celebrations.

The Golden Jubilee of the establishment of formal diplomatic relations between and is being celebrated in the year 2018.

In her remarks, on the occasion, Swaraj said that exemplary ties of friendship and cooperation between and are built on shared values and priorities, utmost and understanding, mutual respect and sensitivity to each other's interests.

"Along with partnership between the two governments, people to people contacts provide depth, character and vibrancy to the relationship," she added.

The used the occasion to call for the renewed commitment and efforts from all stakeholders to realize the full potential of the India-partnership for mutual benefit.

Swaraj reaffirmed India's abiding commitment to build on the strong foundations of cooperative partnership with Bhutan.

Besides high-level exchanges, both and Bhutan have planned a series of special commemorative initiatives, cultural activities, exhibitions and seminars throughout the year to mark this milestone.
