The visiting Indonesian President, Joko Widodo, paid floral tribute to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi at the Raj Ghat here on Monday.
The Indonesian President and his wife H.J. Iriana were welcomed by President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier in the day during the ceremonial reception at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The visiting dignitary was accorded a Guard of Honour.
The Indonesian President, who is presently in India on a two-day official visit, will meet President Mukherjee and Vice-President Mohammed Hamid Ansari this evening.
President Widodo is accompanied by a high-level delegation including several Cabinet ministers, senior officials and a 22-member business delegation.
