J-K: 3 militants killed as army foils infiltration bid

The Indian Army on Thursday foiled a terrorist infiltration bid in the Poonch Sector killing three heavily armed terrorists in a gun battle.

The operation was launched in the evening at around 5:00 p.m. when the infiltration bid was detected by surveillance devices.

The area has been cordoned off and search operations are going on.

The failed infiltration bid and casualties are a big blow to the nefarious designs of terrorists and their handlers across the LoC who have been waiting and planning for infiltration for a long time.

No casualties or damage have been reported yet.
