Security forces on Sunday killed five terrorists during a gunfight in Kellam Devsar area of Jammu and Kashmir.
SP Pani, IG Kashmir said, "On the basis of specific inputs, security forces cordoned off the area. During the exchange of fire, 5 terrorists were killed and arms and ammunition seized. There has been no collateral damage and the encounter site has been cleared."
The bodies of the terrorists have taken possession of, official sources said.
Following the encounter, locals resorted to stone pelting in which four CRPF officials were injured, they said.
The identities and affiliation of the killed terrorists are yet to be ascertained.
The search operation is still underway.
