Jennifer Lopez got teary-eyed while paying an emotional tribute to late singer Selena Quintanilla at the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
The 'Booty' hitmaker said that the late Latin artist was just one of those very special types of artists that, with her music and her spirit and her joy and her heart, really touched people, Us Magazine reported.
The 45-year-old songstress talked about the movie on Selena and said that the impact that it had on her life, her career was a great thing for her to be her mentor, in a way, and to teach her so much about how to navigate this business, but also how to navigate through life.
Lopez said that the story of the late singer was a sad story and it still gave her the chills to this day.
