JK: CRPF officer killed, two terrorists neutralised in Nowhatta

A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) commandant succumbed to his injuries while four defence personnel were injured in the attack by terrorists, who opened fire on security forces in Nowhatta area of Srinagar.

Two terrorists have also been neutralised and a search operation is underway to smoke the remaining, hidden untoward elements.

The entire area has been cordoned off as two-three terrorists are still holed up and heavy exchange of gunfire is still underway.
