Joe Biden runs short on bill for sandwiches

Vice President Joe Biden ran short on cash at a recent trip to a sandwich restaurant in Washington.

The 71-year-old 47th Vice President of the United States had stopped by at Capriotti's to pick up lunch for himself and President Obama when he ran short of money to pay for the food, the New York Daily news reported.

Biden came up short for the 56.25 dollars bill and had to borrow the difference from a staffer.

An employee at the restaurant offered the food on the house, but the Democrat politician refused the offer.
