Katy Perry has become the most followed person on social networking site Twitter with more than 50 million followers.
Twitter Counter, a service for tracking Twitter usage, said that the 29-year-olds singer, who tweets regularly to her fans, never really shared her Twitter milestones, News.com.au reported.
After Perry, second in line is Justin Bieber with 49,200,172 followers, while Lady Gaga, who made Twitter history when she became the first person to claim 20 million followers, is now in fourth place with 41,026,779 followers.
