Kejriwal fit to be PM: Yogendra Yadav

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Yogendra Yadav on Saturday said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is fit to be prime minister, and added that the clash between Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi would be disastrous for the country.

Yogendra Yadav, who arrived for an AAP national executive meeting at the Constitution Club here today, said, "We have always maintained that the clash between Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi will be disastrous for the country. The country needs a better alternative. We will decide if we are capable enough to provide it."

"It is my dream to see Arvind Kejriwal as the prime minister. I think he is capable enough to lead the country. But, we have to see, what is our standing today," he added.

 

About the national executive meeting of the AAP, Yadav said, "The meeting is being attended by leaders of the AAP from all over India. In the meeting, the results of the Delhi Assembly elections will be introspected upon and will also chalk out our strategy for the 2014 general elections.
