Kerala: Two DYFI activists hacked in Palakkad district

Two Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) activists were hacked to death on Thursday night at Elappulli in Palakkad district of Kerala.

The incident took place on Thursday evening around 6 p.m.

Meanwhile, the DYFI workers Ratheesh and Yusuf are undergoing treatment in a private hospital.

The Kerala Police have named three Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in connection with the attack on the DYFI activists.

The incident comes a day after unidentified men hurled bombs at Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh office (RSS) office at Kallachy which critically injured three workers. A Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) office was also set on fire.
