Replacing Kate Upton, Mariah Carey has appeared in a new commercial for the video game 'Game of War

In the commercial, the 45-year-old singer, who only appears for a few seconds, donned a "sexy shield" and effortlessly slays a dragon, E! Online reports.

The 'Without You' hit-maker, who appeared as cleavage baring warrior in the commercial, then quipped, "Time to be heroes, guys."

While Upton commercials deals with sex appeal and fantasy violence, Carey seemed to have taken a different track, as it was more creative.
