Italian giants AC Milan has earned a 1-1 draw with Dutch side Ajax in their Champions League Group H clash at the Amsterdam Arena on Tuesday.
Eccentric striker Mario Balotelli saved Milan from going down in the game after winning a penalty in controversial circumstances after grappling with substitute Ajax centre-back Mike Van der Hoorn, helping Milan earn a draw in the second-half of the game.
According to Sport24, however, Ajax was disappointed at the finish despite taking the lead in the 90th minute with a header by young central defender Stefano Denswil.
The report mentioned that draw leaves Milan in second place on four points behind Barcelona, which won the group's other game against Celtic, and the side will face familiar foes Barcelona in their next game.
According to the report, Ajax will be facing a vital double-header against Celtic.
