Nike has confirmed that they are putting an end to their wearable hardware efforts to focus more on software.
According to CNET, the division responsible for developing FuelBand wearable fitness tracker would be shifting its focus to software.
Nike FuelBand is an activity tracker worn on the wrist and is to be used with an Apple iPhone or iPad device, or computer running Windows.
Nike CEO Mark Parker said that wearables will be integrated into other products and they looking to expand partnerships to expand reach for the Nike Fuel and Fuel system.
