Sony has released boot-loaders for its smart-phones which makes it easier to put new operating systems on its phones.
According to engadget.com, the boot-loaders let users to boot from recovery space. This will help users to install both custom Android ROMs as well as different operating system, like Firefox OS or Ubuntu Touch.
Although, the only devices that supports these boot-loaders are Xperia E3, M2, T2 Ultra and T3, which are low end models.
