Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Tariq Anwar warned the NDA Government that only slogans won't help 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'.
Supporting Vice President M. Hamid Ansari's view that affirmative action was needed to ensure that everybody moves forward together, Anwar said, "I think vice-president Hamid Ansari has said the right thing. The Government's eyes should be open now. Only slogans won't help 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas', it should be seen in reality as well."
"The minorities, especially the Muslim community feels lonely. The latest survey also shows that the minority communities are going backward in every area. This is not in favour of the nation," he added.
