Paes-Begemann rally into Winston-Salem Open final
Veteran Indian tennis player Leander Paes and his German partner Andre Begemann progressed through to the Winston-Salem Open final here on Friday.
The unseeded Indo-German duo produced a spirited comeback to claim a 1-6, 7-6(5), 10-4 win over Swede Robert Lindstedt and Pakistan's Aisam-ul Haq Qureshi in a thrilling semifinal contest that lasted one hour and 31 minutes.
They will now face Guillermo Garcia-Lopez and Henri Kontinen in the summit clash.
