The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has shown interest in buying fourth generation stealth fighter aircraft FC-31 from China.
Pakistani Defence Production minister Rana Tanveer Hussain said that the matter was ebing discussed with Chinese authorities.
According to Dawn, it is for the first time that a senior government functionary has confirmed talks with China over purchase of the longer-range stealth aircraft.
The FC-31 is being developed by China mainly for the export market.
Chinese authorities said that many countries have shown interest in the aircraft that is belived to be comparable to U.S. F-35 joint Strike Fighter.
