ANI Islamabad

Afghan President Hamid Karzai has reportedly told Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that both the nations face a common enemy that is terrorism and are burning in its flames.

According to the Express Tribune, Karzai condemned the attacks in Quetta and the eastern Afghan city Jalalabad while talking to Sharif and said that the terrorists and the enemies of the two nations showed no respect to the Muslim festival of Eid-ul-Fitr and even targeted women and children during the sacred days.

Sharif agreed with Karzai assertions that both nations faced a similar problem and cooperation and efforts by the two countries and their people is the only way to defeat and eliminate terrorism, the report added.
