Pakistan's Foreign Office spokeswoman Tasneem Aslam has dismissed reports that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif rejected the use of a bulletproof car provided by India at SAARC summit, saying that no car was ever offered to him by the neighbouring country.

According to Dawn News, on Nov 17, a Nepalese official had said that Prime Minister Nawaz rejected the use of a bulletproof car provided by India for summit of South Asian leaders in Kathmandu.

Nepalese foreign ministry spokesman Khaga Nath Adhikari had said that the Pakistan leader would be bringing his own, adding that India had provided vehicles for all the other heads of countries.

Leaders of South Asian countries including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal, India and Pakistan are scheduled to meet in Kathmandu on November 26 and 27 for the summit.
