Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that it evacuated 11 Indians along with 148 Pakistani nationals who were stranded in Yemen's southeastern city of Mokallah.

The Ministry said that 35 foreign nationals, including eight Chinese and four British citizens, requiring emergency evacuation were rescued by PNS "Aslat" with the Pakistani nationals.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs further said that two clusters of Pakistani community in Yemen still await evacuation.

One cluster comprises of 174 compatriots, who could not or did not want to move to Al Hudeida for the planned airlift on March 31, and are now stuck in Sana'a. Another cluster of 34 community members were also gathered in Al Hudeida for evacuation.

Mokallah, which had the third big cluster of Pakistani citizens in Yemen, became critical following an Al Qaeda jail break.
