Pak successfully test fires first indigenously-developed armed drone

Pakistan has test fired first indigenously developed armed drone Burraq successfully on Friday along with its laser guided missile Barq, said the ISPR.

According to the Express Tribune, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif witnessed the test fire that has multiple capabilities against terrorists and impressive accuracy.

Raheel commended the engineers and scientists who were part of the development and for their efforts to acquire the technology, according to DG ISPR Asim Bajwa

Raheel termed the development as "a great national achievement" and said that it would contribute to Pakistan's fight against terrorism.
