Reality star Phil Robertson, who caused much uproar after expressing anti-gay beliefs and making statements about pre-Civil War African-Americans, is set to return to filming 'Duck Dynasty' after his suspension was lifted.

Revealing that they had spoken to the family, A and E Networks said that while they did not share Phil's views, they asserted that 'Duck Dynasty' was not a show about one man's views, and that it resonated with a large audience because it is a show about family that the US has come to love, People magazine reported.

A and E Networks explained that Phil and his family publicly stated that they regret the 'coarse language' he used and the misinterpretation of his core beliefs based only on the article.

The statement also added that Phil also made it clear that he would never incite or encourage hate.
