The Prime Minister's Office is in touch with the Indian Embassy in Thimphu in wake of the earthquake that swept Northern India, Nepal and Bhutan.
The official twitter account of the PMO shared the information.
"The PMO has spoken to the Indian Embassy in Bhutan in the wake of the Earthquake. Embassy is in touch with top Bhutan officials as well," it posted.
According to reports, the epicentre of the tremors was said to be in Pokhra, Nepal, with the European Mediterranean Seismological Center stating that the earthquake measured 7.4 on the Richter scale.
