Poachers arrested in Jorhat

Five hardcore poachers were arrested recently by authorities at the Kaziranga National Park during a joint operation with a special task force.

One rifle and eight cartridges were also recovered from their possession.

The poachers revealed that the arms and ammunition used in Rhino poaching are supplied by Karbi People's Liberation Tiger (KPLT) with an agreement of 50 per cent sharing basis.
