Policeman shot dead by militants in Sopore

A policeman has been shot dead by militants in Sopore town of north Kashmir today.

According to television reports, Mudasir Ahmed was shot by the ultras in Hamam area at around 9:50 a.m, resulting in his death on the spot.

The deceased was working as an SPO in the police department, reports added.
