'Ray Donovan' star Eion Bailey bags lead role in 'Extortion'

'Ray Donovan' star Eion Bailey has nabbed the lead role in upcoming flick 'Extortion.'

The Phil Volken-directed nautical thriller Indie film, which also stars Oscar nominated Barkhad Abdi, will see Bailey as a doctor, who's on vacation with his family in the Caribbean, Deadline.com has reported.

He finds himself stranded and vulnerable, and face extortion by an opportunistic migrant fisherman, played by Abdi.

The script was penned by Volken with Alina Shraybman producing.

The film is being shot in Puerto Rico.
