Australian all-rounder Shane Watson has expressed his delight after earning an ODI recall for the upcoming five-match series against England and insisted that his side would try their level best to win the series.
The 34-year-old, who was dropped from the preceding Ashes series after the first Test, said that it had been a tough couple of weeks in view of losing the prestigious series.
Watson said that the team were excited to play the limited-overs game after the World Cup final, adding that he hoped they would be able to win the one-day series, and personally he was able to put in a good performances as well, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
The World Cup champions will take on England in the first one-day international on Thursday and will play the lone-T20 on Monday.
