He may be enjoying a successful music career, but Robbie Williams fears that being in the spotlight will "kill" him.

Opening up about his ongoing struggles with anxiety, depression and agoraphobia, the 43-year-old singer, who made his comeback in 2016 when he signed a new contract with Sony, stated that returning to the stage has made them worse.

In a candid interview with Sunday Times, the 'Love My Life' hit-maker said,

"This job is really bad for my health. It's going to kill me, unless I view it in a different way."

The songwriter also revealed that during his recent live tour he could not leave his hotel rooms for up to six weeks due to an anxiety disorder, which stemmed from being stuck in positions that are difficult to leave - such as performing on stage.

He also confessed that fame makes him experience "dark" feeling.

In 2010, the 'Feel' hit-maker married an American film and television actress Ayda Field.
