There was clear evidence of Russian involvement in the crash of the Malaysian Airlines MH17 in Eastern Ukraine, said U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
Kerry urged Russia to assume responsibility for the actions of the rebels and to take steps to improve the conditions in the area
Russia was accused of supporting the rebels and equipping them with an anti-craft system that was supposedly used in attack, reports the BBC.
U.S. had seen major supplies including tanks, rocket launchers and personnel carriers moving into Ukraine from Russia, said Kerry.
Secretary of State also said that according to the intercepted calls, a Russian SA-11 missile had been supplied to the rebels. He added that U.S. had also seen a video where a launcher moved back into Russia after the Malaysian airlines crashed.
