The results of the presidential elections in Russia conducted today will be announced tomorrow.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is seeking a fourth term in the elections for which the voting began early on Sunday.
As per a CNN report, it is going to be a one-sided election which shall pave the way for Putin to hold the office for the next six years.
In the 2018 Presidential elections, Putin's fiercest political opponent Alexei Navalny had been barred from competing in the elections further cementing the chances for Putin to emerge as a clear winner.
This election is riding high on anti-West sentiments in the country as Russia is dealing with the diplomatic crisis with the United States and the United Kingdom.
