Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib al Hasan scalped Ajinkya Rahane just two runs short off a well deserved hundred before rain continued to play hide and seek on the third day of the lone test against Bangladesh.
When the rain entered again, India were at 462-6 with Ravichandran Ashwin and Harbhajan Singh at the crease.
The umpires decided to take tea and it seems that India might be declaring soon.
Earlier, continuing after the lunch, Murali Vijay and Rahane tried to collect as many runs as possible and post a huge first inning score. Vijay became the third victim of Shakib after scoring brilliant 150.
In search of quick runs, Rahane tried to pull Shakib's arm-ball, but missed it completely and got his middle stump knocked over.
Rain has proven to be a major hindrance in this game, earlier washing out the second day completely and now disrupting the third day as well.
