The Badshaah of Bollywood is extremely happy and thankful to be conferred honorary doctorate at the sixth convocation of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad.
At the event Shah Rukh Khan said, "Not sure if I deserve it but am extremely happy that you have bestowed this honour upon me. My parents would have been happier if they were alive."
"My mother would have been glad as I am getting this honour in Hyderabad, her birthplace," SRK added.
The university has earlier also awarded an honorary doctorate to actor Aamir Khan.
